Masters Projects

University of the West of England, Sustainable Design Project.

The Brief was to create a masterplan for the entire university campus, including the recently purchased former Hewlett Packard site to the west of the original campus. Economic, social and environmental sustainability are all strong components within this project.

St. Mary Redcliffe, Planning and Design Quality Project.

St. Mary Redcliffe Church lies to the south of Bristol City Centre at an important gateway linking Temple Meads Railway Station to The Centre Promenade. The traditional layout of the city has been disrupted by the introduction of the inner ring road that has subsequently been removed. There are good opportunities for development close to the church, and a challenge to honour the precious heritage that remains. This project proposes a measured response to that challenge.

Hotwells, Housing and Urban Design Project.

Nestled in amongst the hillside streets of Clifton, this project warrants consideration of both the historical context of the area and the needs of those who are likely to live here.
